Winter Spark Plug - CR250R

gonna be riding my bike in the cold and wonder if running a hotter spark plug will help to get it to start up a bit better in the cold (have seen this suggested). Motorcycle Superstore suggests the BR8EIX as stock for my bike, so wondering if I can go to the BR7 or if I'll be looking at negative effects.

Colder air is more dense which will create a lean condition in the winter. Lean condition + hotter plug = BAD. If you really want to change the plug, go colder. Having said that, just jet it richer for winter and use the stock plug.

I've never switched plugs for the cold. I just drop the needle clip down a couple of spots.
