The Power Addiction

Recommended Posts

So where does it end? You buy a new bike and the power amazes you...a month or so later you are used to the power and want more..so you buy the new carb/pipe/headers and have it jetted...another month then you are used to it and again wanting more power....then you buy the big bore kit, cam's etc. Then you get used to that again and want more.

Where does it stop? We are continually just looking for more..and more..and more power :excuseme:

It doesn't end. You can't get enough power.

Even on a big turbo busa with 500hp ,you want more after a while.

Yep... what they said.

But... eventually, you want more than just power, and you realize that handling is more important than speed, so you will wind up with multiple bikes. You will have a light bike for off road, and heavy(er) bikes with large motors for the street. I have 7 bikes in the garage right now... all have a different use. Although... I think some one whats to buy my CRB... so it may be gone soon.

This obsession is what make us tick. We need it like a junkie needs his drug. Adreneline is a wonderful (drug) with no side effects, other than crashing.

I'm Jonesing for 50 hp on the cheap right now.

I'm lucky I started my modding on the ZED instead of the TAHOE. I would be in the Poor house.

What you want and what you really need is a differnt thing , id like more but on the UK winter lanes up to your neck in mud a 60 hp Drz is about much good as a chocolate fire guard. 436 , Full RS 2 , 3x3.

i had a rare problem ..

i purchased and installed the full motor kit from eddie at SSW ...

after chewing thru rear tires at a alarming rate !! ... i realized that i had too much power on tap for my own good .

i had to slow it down .. or just take the '' snap '' off the power delivery .

I'm trying really hard to get a S/S brake line for the front next, but that takes away funds I could use for some cams:thumbsup::banghead:
