Urgent!! Does a SM full exhaustsystem fits on a 2001 drz S???

You wont see much of a gain until you go to a bigger headpipe.

Really,

Even if I started with the 36 carb and oem exhaust to a 39 FCR with aftermarket exhaust i wont see much of gain. That's disappointing

Are you familar with the DEP7 exhaust system.

I was thinking that the radius of the headpipe and midpie was a thiny bigger then the stock S exhaust system.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes yes, it's a full system. But there was a little problem.

I waited till in the middle of the night to make the bid.

5 secs before ending of auction time I hit the Bid button.

Then this poped up: You cant buy this item, seller only sell it to UK bidders

So i contacted again the seller and told him about the problem.

Luckely nobody bought the exhaust.

So he reinlisted it on ebay but with 1 photo and not 2 .

In the first auction there was 2 photos.

First photo was only Muffler

Second photo Muffler headpipe and midpipe.

AHH if it is a full pipe, and you run no quiet insert you will see some improvement. As long as the header and mid are bigger than the stocker you will do well. In the one pic all I could see was the can. On an S or SM the real restriction is the header and mid.

I went to an RS2, left it quiet and did the 3x3 rejet. The biggest difference was in throttle response but also more torque - rolling it on it had a lot more power. I am considering pulling the potato out of it and I will have to go up to a 160 on the main, it should get really interesting then.

The big gain for you will be from the FCR, you are talking about a 10% gain, that is really noticeable. combined with a more open pipe and correct jetting, that thing will scream.

Be careful, if you get used to it the only way to do better is Big Bore, cams, headwork, stroker crank Oh NO!
