DR350 clutch specs???

Recommended Posts

Im putting my clutch back in after rebuilding the engine on my 1997 DR350 and no where in the manual does it say how tight to tighten down the clutch springs... My raptor is only 5 foot pounds. Does anyone know how tight to make them?? Thank you!!

All you are doing is bottoming the washer against the spring post. Just use the standard bolt torques listed in your manual for the size and head making bolt it is.... likely a 6mm bolt. The DR650 manual lists the torque at 7 lb-ft. I'd bet the DR350 has the same 6mm bolts. :moon:

My manual says to "tighten them down". Maybe the torque specs are somewhere else... 7 lbs sounds right but it should say it right in the manual but I couldnt find it. Thanks for the help! :moon:
