Recommended Posts

Going to try out Metcalf near San Jose this weekend. Has anybody been there recently? How are the track and trail conditions? Thanks

sand hill has really improved since a regular grooming of the mx track this year ...i like it allot; fee is $6 a truck entering facility:thumbsup: (plus an anual cal state off road waiver card?...well cheap if you already have it)

but it's advisable too check their track condition (rain) daily(mond &tues closed) which determines if tracks are accessible at their website :

My guess is Metcalf will most likely be closed well into next week due to the rain.

erosion, liability,no profit org, laziness (just kidding)and worry(s) about a potential logistic nightmare(dragging people out of muddy ditches ...:banghead: lol

Where I work I can look out my window and see the trails and I can tell its ugly from here....

Its still dumping rain down here they are staying closed all weekend. We got over 7 inches of rain so far in the past few days.

You can get a daily trail report (if there is anything to report that is) here:
