TTR125 topend rebuild questions

My sons TTR is not running well. I think the biggest problem is worn rings. Compression check shows about 90. Can the head and cylinder be removed with the engine in the bike or do I need to remove the engine to do the topend?

Also, does anybody have a good piston/cylinder left over from 150 upgrade they would like to sell?

It's much easier to work on the motor out of the bike.
