Changing the rod -XR650R

Whats up guys?

I used the forum search but couldn't find my answer.

So, Whats the trick to change the rod in the XR650R crankshaft? a machine shop with a press?

Since there is no OEM rod what do you recomend Falicon or Carrillo?

Thanks.

falicon, there more abundant than carrillos.

I do my own rods, mainly older 2-strokes,But...these big boys are tight!I can't do them,i have a bike shop with a BIG press do them.

Another note..alignment is very criticle.Don't just give it to someone with a big press.

Contact www.mrcrankshaft.com he did mine on an XR200 for about 150$
