400/250 Center Stand

Seen this today. Guy making center stands for the XR400. Should fit on a 250 I think too. $160 plus shipping.

Sano, I like it! But it it work with my Skid Plate. The rear portion of the plate mounts in the same way.

I left just enough room for the rear of the of most bash plates to tuck between the frame and the top of the stand. Depending on the bash plate a fraction of an inch would probably need to be trimmed from the rear of the plate. On the XR650L some customers bent the rear of the bash plate to angle down to match the angle and fit tight against the stand.

So tempting but I have no realistic need for the extra weight (like that's ever stopped me) I would go for it 100% on a DRZ or XR650L. Great Price, looks like a great fit and it looks quality.

My guess is that it helps also in the maintenance right? You have a portable stand under your bike forever! not a bad idea... ?

$160 is a bit steep for me though..

Very true, My Ascot had a center stand. It was nice to rebuild the forks while it sat on it's stand.

 No way would that stand last on the trails that I ride, it would hang up and be a MPITA, also as previously mention it wouldn't work with skid plated  bikes. be great if I never got offroad.
