Looking at KDX 200's

I'm going to look at a 2003 KDX 200 tomorrow morning. He bought the bike new in 2003, rode it for a year and then put it in storage in 2004 and it has sat there ever since. I talked to him today and he said it runs but it has a leak on the overflow on the carburetor? ...that maybe the float is stuck? I don't know. This got me thinking about all the things that could need replacing since it sat for so long (fork seals, coolant and fuel hoses, tires, etc.). It has not had the top end replaced either.

He is asking $2100. I believe the bike has an odometer, what would be low miles? What other things should I be looking for and is that a fair price?

The odometer is actually a trip meter, only show a 99 9/10 total from what I remember. That will tell you nothing. 6 years is a long time, but with some general stuff youll have it up and going. Id try to negotiate from 2100, In 2006 I bought my 2001 KDX200 that was just as yours, low hours and had been sitting, for $1800.
