Stampede?

Recommended Posts

Is Stampede pass rideable right now? I am doing a photo shoot this weekend, and my original place fell through. Anwhere close to the eastside to ride? Doesn't even need to be a large place, just doing shots... Any help would be great and thankyou...

I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but has anybody ever been to the old town of Lester up by Stampede Pass? There was an old lady living there, but she passed away recently. I guess all the homes and buildings still stand, be kind of neat to see that.

Never heard of it. But now I know where I'm going when the snow melts. ?

The power lines just outside of Easton might be snow free. They aren't very sheltered from the sun/ rain.

I've been watching the snow fall/ melt here:

You can hike into Lester but no dirt bikes or mountain bikes allowed.

Im thinking this is old info.. lester is in the watershed and yes they do patrol reg, with guns. I saw them hauling out a couple of trespassing mt bikers this summer(watershed). I dont think you can get there by any means now a days..
