Yamaha WR250F 07 Spark Arrestor Question

Hello Everyone

I just wanted to ask a question. I have a 07 WR250F. I find that when riding it somthing is deffantly holding it back slightly. I can feel it when I try and sit at 30mph. I was going to remove the spark arrestor and leave the little tap bit on. Has anyone else done this? does it make a differance? ?

DO NOT TAKE OUT THE SPARK ARRESTOR..unless you will be riding it on the track only. you want something more free flowing, get a new exhaust. they all come with spark arrestors..make sure you do all the free mods and proper jetting as well

De-restrict the airbox and muffler (keep the spark arrestor).

Re-map the ignition timing with the grey wire mod.

Re-jet the bike to compensate for the de-restrictions and your elevation.

There's lot's on info on the site with a few searchs. You won't believe the difference in performance!?
