Bleeding 09 yzf-450 shock help

Recommended Posts

I guess the kids where right, the older I get the less I know. Having trouble bleeding a shock. In the past, when compressing the shaft, oil comes up inside the shaft and exits the holes in the shaft above the base valve. Now when I compress the shaft it only compresses the oil in the shock body and no oil comes out of the holes. The base valve is pushing the oil down inside the shock body. I have added air and still on luck. All the clickers are out. When I do get a little oil above the valve and try to pull the shaft out it acts like there is a vacumm inside the shock and the shaft is very hard to pull out. Any help is better than none. Thanls Ron.

Your reb needle is stucked. You should open the reb clicker when the shock is still pressurized.
