Proper Pressure for Rear Shock?

Recommended Posts

I have a '97 DR350 with an 8.1 rear spring and was wondering what the proper pressure is to fill the rear catridge with Nitrogen is? I've got the rebound all the way in, but it really doesn't do a whole lot with this new spring.

I haven't had it rebuilt, I know I should, but funds are tight right now and I want to try this before I do anything more.

Thanks,

Bob

Suzuki manual calls for 142 psi.

Racetech reccomends 170 psi with their gold valve kit. You should be safe anywhere in that range. You may want to consider doing an oil change if you can. Get a decent "10w" shock fluid.
