Height Measurement

Recommended Posts

Could somebody with a unaltered DR650 give me some height measurements? With the bike sitting upright, unladen, a measurement at the front from the ground up and also the rear....I'm lowering mine and want to keep the lowering level but forgot to to that when I started...thanks.

Height would still be affected by where the rear shock preload is at, possibly where the dealer set it to. If you lower it front and rear by the book, set the rear sag to 3", you should be pretty good. Beyond that getting fork springs for your weight is next or getting donuts to preload the front to get the front sag right.

thanks, I understand that but I'd still like to compare to original settings.

can't help you there, mines all farkled or screwed up depending on your point of view

Maybe try a suzuki dealer? then you can do it with your weight and know where the shock preload is
