Problem w/ Jetting after MRD install

I have a 2007 450x:

smog block off kit

JD Red needle 4th postition

165 main

stock 45 pilot

Merge spring, ALJ 1/2 turn out

and adjust. fuel screw 2 turns out

Ride at 2000 ft

No air box cut, but snorkel is off

With my stock pipe this set up was great, no bog or hesitation.:thumbsup:

Installed my new MRD full exhuast last week. My bike is more responsive and pipe looks great.

But, now my bike has bad decel pop and runs like its too rich at full throttle.

Wanted to see what you guys recommend before I start re-jetting to a 162.

Also, when adjusting fuel screw their was no noticable difference between 2 1/2 to 1/2 turn out. Except less decel pop the more turns out.

decel pop means that it is lean. if your having to get close to 3 turns out on the fuel screw up your pilot.:thumbsup:

I would bet you need to go up on your pilot one size. Seems like a 48 does great in my bike with the fuel screw to fine tune it.
