Kawasaki KE 175 Rebuild

Recommended Posts

I have a KE 175 I'm thinking of rebuilding so I can plate it in Oregon. Is it even possible to plate it in Oregon?

If it is possible are there specific things to watch out for and check on this bike?

Not from Oregon, but I have a '75 KE 175 in my Pops garage. I used to ride it when I was in my teens. It only has 2,200 miles on it. I want to restore it, put classic/vintage tag on it and use it for local errands. I wouldn't want to do a lot of commuting on it.

I'm not sure how easy they are to get parts for. Maybe Ebay? I know mine needs a piston and rings at the minimum, maybe a bore. I wish I knew more about the oil injection. Like if it works.lol.

Good luck with your project
