the track looks fun. when do you plan on going out again?

Well this weekend I have a double header race at Perris Raceway. After that, I will most likely be at Pala every weekend for a while.

Is this typical of the tracks around you? I wish we had a track similar to that close by. Most of our close tracks are now closed. Its probably because they look alot harder / dangerous, than that.

Two thoughts.

1- On video, tracks, jumps, bumps, etc all look a lot tamer. I'm not quite sure why, they just do.

2 - This is a Vet track, so it IS tamer than the main track at Pala. The majority of tracks out here have both a Vet track and a main, in order to cater to different abilities.

Here is a vid of the Pala main track shot from my 250F: http://www.vimeo.com/9447325

Here is the main track at Racetown 395 on my 450: http://www.vimeo.com/9482358

Here is a race on my 450 at Cahuilla Creek MX on the main track: http://www.vimeo.com/9123303

Here is a race at the Comp Edge main track on my 250F: http://www.vimeo.com/8525497

These are a few of my local favorites that also have Vet tracks.

By the way, I am originally from Indiana. Where in the state are you?

Freds4.... what setting did you have your Go Pro on at Pala on Feb 28th?

I always use my camera on the default setting, which I believe is mode 4. I'm at work right now, so I can't check.

I realize the camera take alot away from the actual. But I also look in the background at the jumps and other things and can tell its more rider friendly than alot of the "used to be tracks", around me. Used to be because they are more supercross style, and lots of people got hurt, and the tracks shut down. Most are open to "tresspassers", but if you get hurt, your tresspassing. I'm not bad mouthing, just enveous.

By the way, I'm about 25 miles South of Bloomington. South-central Indiana.

NICE vids!!
