1992-1997 Ford 7.3l diesel gas mileage

Recommended Posts

I am interesed in a older ford diesel truck but I am wondering what kind of gas mileage i can get from one. Does anybody have a 1992-1997 F350 or 250 4x4 with a non turbo 7.3 liter diesel and a 4.10 rear end?

You probably won't get very good gas mileage in a DIESEL:bonk:

Sorry, I had to:busted:

I have a 94 box van E-350 with the non-turbo 7.3. I get a consistant 10mpg out of it, and it seems like it doesn't change much whether the truck is loaded or not.

I have a 1995 F-250 2wd that gets about 18mpg highway and about 15mpg around town. This truck does have the 4:10 gears and is 7.3L Turbo Diesel.

I believe 1994 and older 7.3L were non-turbo and 1995 and newer 7.3L were turbo.
