bottom steering stem bearing

how do you remove it, and re-install? lol

I just need it off to get my clamps powder coated.

the stem needs to be pushed down and out of the clamps with a hydraulic press

The stems are pressed in TIGHT! I've always been too scared to try mine at the full 10 tons, got to about 5-6 tons and started to cringe so I stopped and just cut it off. I haven't tried it since, I always just cut/destroy the lower bearing to remove it. But that was a few bikes ago, might get brave one day and try the press again.
