can you take the 49mm showa forks that come from a 1999-2000 rm 250 and make them into a close cousin to the new 49mm works units if so what would the cost be including the coating and all the internals some one with some credintials please explain

ohlins ttx fork kit is a really good option........they are better than my 09 showas

That is basically what a Pro Circuit "A" kit is, rebuilt zook forks. I have a set, I would know. Ti-N coated fork legs are 250 bucks a piece, correct axle lugs are 175 a piece, etc etc.
