gearing question

How many teeth can you go to on the rear before you need a different chain? I did drop the front sprocket but it made no difference..

15/44 is at about 0.3 on the adjuster for me.

15/45 would probably need 112 links.

Jesse sells a 45t that can be run with the stock chain and a 14t up front. Any bigger and you have to add links.

I dont know if chain size makes a difference. i went to 520.

running 14/46 and had to go to 112 links

I have used the following combinations with a new stock length chain.

15/44 15/47 14/47

15/47? At 14/45 and a 130/90-17 K-760 I can barely give the chain the proper slack. Did you have to get a different chain guide?

I was referring to the DRZ 400. Are we are talking about a drz 400 or another dr ?
