Shorty riding boots?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone had ever used the shorter type of riding boots that just come up past the ankle. Do they work well? I've been thinking of getting some but i haven't seen any reviews on them.

I use short boots when trail riding on mini's with my boys, for general protection against misc. trail obstacles. I like the comfort aspects but admit that ankle breaks are more likely when using them.

When I get on the big bike, I put on the big boots.

my brother has some a-star short boots, there ok for quads (hes got a dvx400). on a bike though i wouldn't recommend it, you need the ankle protection when on a bike

I'd only use them on a quad or a mini. on a full size bike, full sized boots.

+1, but not for any quad, only a utility quad.
