Stock 06/07 exhaust on 05 w/stock pipe?

Does anyone know how the stock 06/07 exhaust fits on an 05 with the stock pipe? There's alot of posts on putting the R exhaust on the X (05 is the only direct bolt-on w/out modification). But what about the stock X ehaust? Is it the same situation where you need to tweak an 06/07 a little bit to fit on the 05? Common sense tells me it is but just want to be sure.

regarding the exhaust, all model years for the 450x are interchangeable. ?
