Help with linkage bolt removal

Recommended Posts

Heat the link up with a propane torch. Not red hot but hot enough to leave blisters. Then use a large hammer and punch and drive it out. Don't be scared to pound the guts out of it. Once you get it out you will need a new bolt and the bearings for the link.

Be sure to remove the carb before you start heating it up. The vent lines are right next to the link and you don't mix fuel with a torch!!
