Best way to lube cables

Recommended Posts

I find the best way is to use a sandwich baggie and some electrical tape, or any tape for that matter.

Push the cable end through the corner of your baggie, and tape it off nice and tight to the cable making a funnel out of the baggie. Spray your lube in, and work the cable holding it upright, allowing the fluid to funnel into the cable itself.

No mess, works good, learned it from a fellow TT'er a while back.

I'm going to try this tonight. I was planning on lubing and inspecting my cables and I always dread using that stupid motion pro cable luber thing I have.

Thanks for the post.
