2007 ktm 250sxf bog on wack of throttle plese help!!!

:bonk:ok i have a 2007 ktm 250sxf

has powerbomb header and titanium muffler / stock bore

i installed the jd jet kit with the o ring mod , 5th clip red needle , 185 main , and a 60 leak jet

it was 45 degrees here today and i started the bike after i installed my new rekluse z start pro and i took it for a ride it still has the same bog it did before installing my jd kit say when u come to a bottom of a hill and wack the gas hard it falls on its face

where do i go now ?????????? any help is great

i dont really care for 4 strokes too much i bought this bike for the right price so its a spare and back up bike my main bike is a 2009 ktm 300xcw(2 smoker)

how do i time the ap squirt????

and where whould i find an adj leak jet???????

shouldent the jd kit took care of this bog as they claim???????

I went thru the same thing, runs good if you roll the throttle on, asked lots of people, JD included, changed lots of stuff. Turned out a few were right, top end was worn out and it needed a re-build. Fixed and runs great now. 50 hrs for racing, 100 hrs trail riding, mine had 150 hrs or so.

You might need to change the leak jet or get a Merge Ajustable leak jet. That way you can adjust it on the outside instead of taking the carb apart.

even if i put the leakjet that jd rec. and used the 1 that came in my kit??????

Some times you may have to fine tune it. Have a read of this http://ktmtalk.com/index.php?showtopic=171766

I think Ive read what Mike suggested before, worth looking into.
