Rear Disk Brake

Recommended Posts

Must have hit my rear disk on something... when on a stand and I turn the rear tire it has about 3/16" of delection in it. Seems like th brake caliper assy floats ok & the tire still turns pretty smooth though. On every turn of the tire; it wobbles over then wobbles back, cant seem to find any evidance of the strike though.

Guess Im leaning twards fixing or replacing it... anyone have suggestions?

That happend to mine a couple of years ago. I just put it up on a stand and figured out where the bend was. Then I took a cresent wrench and bent it right back. It took a few bends but its as good as new now and didn't cost anything but a few minutes to do. I wouldn't waste your $$ on a new rotar unless its something that is beyond bending.

Good Luck
