Turn Key and Nothing

Hello,

I just had my bike running, and then went to put my tail light and signal light back on. It's a 08 SM, anyways while I was checking the signal lights, I had left the key on, looked down and taillight wires were touching each other. I turned the key in the off position, and finished putting the lights on. I then finish, and try to start the bike and theres nothing when i turn the key to the one position. Is there a fuse somewhere that I have blown?

possible the fuse is above your battery

Very possilbly the main fuse .

Yeah, was the 20A fuse near the battery.

Noticed the ignition wires on my sm can be very finicky after a hard hit (landed face first off the steep side of a sand dune yesterday) ever since the ignition is very finicky.

just a thought those fuse sounds more likely
