yz blown up

hey today i was riding my 01 yz 125 and itjust boged down and when i went to kick it over it had no compression... i pulled the plug and it was grey and dry... i just rebuilt the bike no more than ten hours ago...i bought the bike used rode it for like a total 5 hrs then it seized up...i just put a new top end in and in about less than 10 hrs itblew up again...can any one help me...the crank is good

Sounds like you have an issue you need to solve before you just re-build it and let it blow again. I would look into the jetting being slightly lean as per a grey plug being pulled out.

Maybe check the carb to make sure that none of the jets are slightly plugged or gummed up, and would also be a good idea to make sure that your left crank seal hasn't developed an air leak (pressure test). May just be that the bike isn't jetted right either and just needs some fatter jetting.

Also, just curious, and by "seized and put a new top end in", was there any damage to the cylinder? Was it also replated in this process?

well my bike is still in my friends van as soon as i get it torn apart ill up load some pictures. The bike is totaly stock but i have no idea if the kid i bought it from leaned it out does anyone know all of the stock jet specks? there was a little damage done to the cylinder but i cleaned it up real nice

If you have been riding it on the ice or it has seen sustained high rpm in cold weather you should check/change the ball bearing and seal on the timing side.
