quick question

Recommended Posts

So i broke out my 2008 crf250r for spring started it up and did a once over of the bike to make sure everything is in working order. i noticed a decent sized dent in the exhaust header right at the end of the bend " whatever i hit actually smashed the stock header guard right into the pipe", so my question is if this could cause any significant issues or rob any power? I must have somehow overlooked it last summer somehow but if it will cost me alot of money down the road i would like to know so i can fix it now.

There was a thread that was made a while back where guys showed the home-made tools they had made. One guy rigged up a system were he pumped his header full of air and heated the dent a little and the dent popped out. Worth a try..
