lower front end?

Recommended Posts

Will lowering the front end help make it feel more planted? In corners it feels light, like it's too high. '09 drz 400sm.

Lowering the front (raising the forks in the triples) will make it turn in quicker but feel more twitchy at speed. Sounds more like you have suspension issues or you're sitting too far back if the front doesn't feel planted.

Suspension must have settled in (being new), the sag was 100mm! Now it's 69mm and feels better. Really have to get forward on the sm's too. My whole 130lbs. Being the first rides of the season and cold doesn't help the confidence level, esp. w/ the stones and all. Thank you.
