Rim lock wheel hop help

Ive done some research and found out I need to balance out my wheels with weights opposite to where my new rim locks are installed to get rid of the wheel hop. I need to know what size, how many and where to get the lead weights. Thanks for the input!

Typically around 2.5-3.5 oz. You can use standard wheel weights or I went to the coiled lead fishing weights.

Many bike shops have split barrel type spoke weights available.

Take the wheel to the bike shop and have them balance it for you. Mine has several tape weights as well as several spoke weights in order to balance out the rim lock.

You can easily balance the wheel close enough with the wheel off the bike, the axle through the hub and balancing on a pair of jack stands.
