250 vs 125 weight

In general, how much heavier is a 250 than a 125. Also, i'm looking at at 2001 yz250 but i saw somewhere where the seat height is like 38.9 inches which seems really high. Does this bike have an above average seat height?

Well, Im not sure on the weights of the year you were looking at but the modern 125 is 194lbs and the 250 is around 229lbs

busted bones seems about right with the weight... and actually the 250s sit lower than the 125s. The seat height on the 2001 yz125 is 39 in. and the seat height on the 2001 yz 250 is 38.9 in.

Yeah, I thought it was about 22 pounds. And when you're tired and that extra power starts taking YOU for a ride, the bike seems a lot heavier and faster and, well, fun!

Thats actually 35 pounds with about a 10-12 horsepower difference
