That's a pretty neat video. That guy has done it a time or two, based on how quick he drills everything.
The previous owner of my KX250 has "over-used" some of the threads. I bought a complete set of Timesert threads and have been fixing them as I work on the bike. I have used both Helicoil and Timesert thread repairs. For most situations, I like the timesert better. They just seem to stay in better than heli-coil.
Timesert is the BEST way to fix bad threads!
i like helicoils. keensert works even better if youve got enough material to work with.
