1:00pm Trail Ride

Directions to the Trail Work Party Area:

From I-84, exit at Hood River exit (exit 62), go south (east) on Cascade/Oak St., and immediately make the next right turn (west) on Country Club Rd. Take Country Club Rd to Riordan Hill Rd. and turn right (west), Go about 3 miles up Riordan Hill Rd and park on the right in the new clear-cut. We will be working on Trail #140 on the northwest side of the clear-cut in the tall trees.

This CGORA Work Party will finish the last re-route of Trail #140 that was very steep. This is a popular single track trail that will add more of the new “Hybrid” trail that the five previous CGORA Work Parties completed in the last year two years. Bring water, lunch, gloves, safety glasses, hand and chain saws, and other trail tools if you have them. We will be providing McLeods, Loppers, Pulaskis, Rakes, hand saws, etc. Bring your bike and be ready to ride at 1:00 after the Work Party.

Here is YOUR chance to give back to a great riding area and have a fun ride. How many of you plan to come out and help?

Tom N. and crew will be here.

Ride?

Rick, I'll be there. Probably solo. Adam is working 6 days a week and is toast, Jake is hitting Eddieville with his wife. Still working on buddy Mike.

Thanks to everyone that came out to help! The new section of trail looks great!

And you were right, no dust. Trail looks good. After everyone left A few of us rode 140 and 170 and they were actually not as bad (slick / muddy) as you might think. Even did the new trail, it flows real nice and is plenty wide. Should hold up good, time will tell. That 140 trail is a good one Rick, thanks.
