fouling plugs

Recommended Posts

i bought a 94 xr200r about 11 months ago and after 2 months i had to replce the cam cog and the tensioner and the chain and also replaced the seals in the carby and it runs perfectly but the spark plug gets carbon fouled every 2 months or less if i ride in once a week for about 30 minutes the valve clearance is good, air filter is new and it idles good.

i think i problem is the jetting or the fuel mixture screw on the underside of the carby

the jetting can play a huge part in the fouling of plugs. if the plug is really black its too rich, if its really white its too lean.
