Guts seat covers

Recommended Posts

So my stock seat is toast, time for a new one.

I plan on getting a Guts tall medium foam and a seat cover.

I'm just not sure which cover to get.

It's between the Competition cover and the P5 Ballistic seat cover

Anyone with any experience with these covers?

I just put a Guts cover and seat hump in this past weekend. I used the P5 Ballistic seat cover. It's great material...key note though...if you don't know how to upholster with a seat hump, I would take it somewhere. I cannot get the cover to fit tight against the hump. First time upholstery job...hahaha.

You wouldn't happen to have a pic of it would you? Just interested in what the gripper material looks like. Can't really tell from the website.

No hump for me, never used one and worried it would bother me when moving my butt to the rear.

I have a Guts cover and it has great grip, looks sick and wears great. If you want a sweet cover you should get the Factory Team Seat. http://www.gutsracing.com/pages/yamahamain.html

Here's mine:

Nice looking bike

They don't offer the Factory team for my WR. It's between the Competition and P5 Ballistic for me. Leaning towards the P5 ballistic, seems the closest to the Factory team...
