2011 RMZ's

Recommended Posts

Where we live the new YZ's turned up about two weeks ago and the RM's are due in this week. The CRF's have been here a while. KTM was available months ago.

Lets say you buy a new 2010 RMZ next week, are Suzuki going to release the 2011 bikes in 9 or so months like normal?

Let me get this straight, the UAE already has 2011 YZF's, CRF's and KTM's??

How about posting a picture? But be warned, sometimes your "next model" was actually our last years model. You could tell this by checking your CRF's, when did your 250f get EFI?

He ment the manufactures 2010's showed up. The question is if you buy a 2010 is suzuki gonna release the 2011's shortly after and make your brand new bike "last years model" or will they release them at normal time at the end of the year. Now to the answer, from what everyone is saying the 11's will be out early but who knows, depends on their strategy. Their current one isnt panning out, I dont think anyone who hasnt bought a 09 yet is going to with this much anticipation for the 10's.

Well, even if Suzuki was the first to release the 2011's we are still looking at late August. It would mostly depend on how many unsold bikes are out there.

The bonus part of all of this is that we now know that the 2011 will have EFI and it will be a refined bike. The YZF250 "might" be all new, just like the '10 YZF450, the problem is that the YZF isn't really better ~ just different. Although their EFI programmer is awesome. The KXF250 may or may not be EFI, and the CRF250 is having issues with it filling the bottom end with gas (the pump keeps running after the engine stops).

Long story short, the 2010 RMZ250 is a great bike and if you bought one today you will have a great bike for the year. If you waited 6 months Suzuki "might" release a better RMZ250, but that's 6 months that you could have been riding had you bought a bike today.
