Since I have no experience of riding in the desert this is crazy cool to me. For some of you this may be normal but for me it is so opposite than where and what I ride. Here is a cool desert race vid from this year:

I don't claim to be a great rider, especially at the time this film was made, but this is the tightest singletrack I've ever ridden. I'd have a hard time imagining anyone going very fast through this though. ? Get's really tight around the 1:20 mark.
