looks like the oils completely gone. the o-ring has popped out in one corner, thats where the oil shot out. what will i need? a fluid change and a nitrogen recharge? how much will that be? or do i need to rebuild the shock??

You must have turned the adjuster pretty hard to get the whole unit to unscrew from the shock body.....

It'll need an oil refill and n2 recharge.

You might want to let the N2 out then so it doesn't blow a hole through the bladder before you get it serviced.

Phew, thank god. How Much will the oil refill and nitrogen recharge cost?

I would be worried. Being that the comp adjuster was that loose to turn with just a screw driver or even the HS adjustment. Make sure the threads are not screwed up.
