Classic sign of an air leak or obstructed low speed circuit. I've had low speed ports obstructed by dirt in the fuel. Very difficult to remove, it took compressed air from the venturi side to blow out the dirt.

Has it always done that or did it just start?

Sorry guys.. I just installed the PZ28..

It pulls much harder than the TM24, so it needed the larger bore carb.

Then probably what Chuck said. If the carb was sitting before you put it on, it probably has a clogged pilot. I would check that first.

X3 with Chuck.

However, I had the same lean decel condition with my PWK 28, riching up the needle clip position cured it, For MX!

Also had the same issue with 560SMR, resulted in rich'n the pilot and needle.
