rebuilding +5mm crank

Recommended Posts

thinking ahead here.

since the 5mm stroker crank is no longer available from hotrods, will it be possible to rebuild one with their rod kit(since it's a stock lenght rod).

how's the press fit after?

needs to be welded?

It's not available from hotrods but there is still stock in ebay and i guess also in some stores.

But i think that the +4mm one is better as you don't need special pistons or spacers.

I have the 5mm one and after 2 special pistons i'm now messing with the spacer.
