Which bike do you think??

Recommended Posts

Hey all,im from new zealand and am wanting to get back on a bike after 10 years off them,have mates that have bikes and my 10 year old wants one also so im wanting to get one,

ive ridden a 03 cr250r,liked it but was a handfull at times,

04 cr450,was heavy and hard to start,

99 yz 426 really hard to start and got hot and was a bit of a pig, but had heaps of grunt,

99 rm125,was a real fun bike but needed to be on pipe to have any real power,but was fun.

then i spoke to a guy in my local bike shop and he said unless its been rebuilt or is new to stay away from a four stroke,for the money ive got will be better suited to a 125 or 250 two stroke,

anyway,i have a few bikes in mind but cant decide,il be using the bike for trails,beach,the odd blast around a mx track and posible enduro,have got $2000 to spend,5,11 160 pounds,these are the bikes iv been considering,

I would get the last one the rmx seems like it would work well with what you need.

Thanks guys,yeh those bikes would have been good,

but i went with this,http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Motorbikes/Dirt-bikes//auction-272689894.htm

got it for a good deal,(well under the list price.)

had my first ride on it today,went mint,i thought a 125 would be a bit powerless for what i wanted but it went hard, handled well and i had a heap of fun,very good in the bush,struggled a bit in deap sand but just had to keep up it,my mates cr250 left me for dead a few times but i got him back on the tight bush tracks,ha ha.

Hey mate, looks good. 125cc bikes are the most fun bikes of all to own. The 01 kawis were pretty good too. Best on the budget too. Just pin it everywhere and you will have a blast.

Just wondering though, how much are the "Rental" bars costing you a week. Did you ask???

:applause::jawdrop::cheers::crazy:

:thumbsup::lol::)
