Broken Trans input shaft...

Ok ive done a bunch of searching here and havnt seen any threads on this. My buddies 07 RMZ450 just snapped the trans input shaft just under the clutch hub splines. Anyone seen this before?

Bummer, I've seen that on some vintage bikes (20 plus years old) but it's been awhile. Maybe check with your dealership and see if there's any tech bulletins on that failure.

Definitely not a common problem.

Thie same thing happened to my 07 after about 6 hours riding. Replaced it and had no trouble since.

Did you take it back to the place you bought it from? Was Suzuki at least notified?
