New Airfilter Design

Okay lets say there is a air filter out there that is better in regards to airflow and dust protection but has the cost of a TwinAir? Would people try it?

The good foam elements offer very little restriction to air flow, especially if they're large enough) but can be improved on. Gauze elements like K&N do offer better air flow, and can potentially filter a little better IF they are cleaned often and are properly and thoroughly oiled. Oiling them really well is much more difficult than with foam, however, and this often ends up the downfall of such elements. Air box configuration is also an important consideration.

My question is, is this a purely hypothetical question, or are you suggesting there is such a thing available? The dust I ride in couldn't be any finer with becoming a gas, and it would be nice to have a better way to deal with it.
