Front End Wash

Recommended Posts

Given that the front springs are proper for the rider. A fast over 30 expert.

What would be some of your choices for valving fixes for front end washing coming out of a rutted corner, top rev third gear.

Would you rather add in the slow speed shims or take out some re-bound?

The bike is a 2005 yz250f.

Just looking for different schools of thought I guess.

That can be fixed without revalving. Check rear sag first. If ok then either raise the forks a cpl. mm's or adjust frt. clickers. Try softer comp and/or slower reb.

given sag is set, forks raised 5mm and clickers were played with....

Now onto valving, which would be beneficial.

I'm assuming adding a couple to the low speed.
