RedRider31 Posted March 19, 2010 Hey guys, I grew up in Ville Platte, LA, and I got in to dirt bikes since I've been living up here in Denver. I'm coming home for a week in the end of May, and I'm bringing my bike with me. What, in your opinion, are the best places to ride in the Lafayette area? I plan on hitting up Gravity Alley in Breaux Bridge, and Frog Capital Speedway in Rayne. Any other suggestions? Trails or mx, it doesn't matter. Navaho6 My Rides (2) Posted March 19, 2010 Going to get some boudin and cracklins when you get back to The Parish? If you want trails, either the Vernon Unit in Cravens, LA (Point🤣 or the Evangeline Unit in Forest Hill, LA (Point C). Both are in the Calcalsieu District of the Kisatchie National Forest. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Ville+Platte,+LA&daddr=Forestry+Service+Rd+440%2FRustville+Rd+to:31.095131,-92.565651&geocode=FedC1AEdZAyA-ikdDA8TM8UkhjGmE0lRTgxoGg%3BFScC2QEd0cZ0-g%3B&hl=en&mra=dme&mrcr=1&mrsp=2&sz=13&sll=31.076608,-92.54076&sspn=0.062338,0.110035&ie=UTF8&z=13 Be sure to check the OHV Trail status before you go.
