how to use the yz shim chart

i have a 01 yz 250f and i'am really bad with maths and paranoid about stuffing things up

heres my clearance

left ex: 13mm

right ex:0.14mm

left intake 0.24mm-yes 0.24mm i know

centre intake 0.10mm

right intake 0.07mm

do i have to take out the old shims and measure them before adjusting them, cant i just go by the clearance

yes you have to take out the old shims

when you take out the old shims measure them with a mic and you may be able top use them on another valve.

i just shimmed my valves and only had to buy 3 new ones.
