TTR125 Conversion, Chain Guide

Recommended Posts

Got a problem with my son`s TTR125 witz RM85 Frontfork and rear up- leveling by second whole in the frame :

The chain must be so slack/loose(because of the steep angle of the swingarm.) , that I am always afraid it could hop out.

I have already built a strong Chainguide.

What else can I do for that?

Does anybody uns a chain tensioner?

Get a BBR chain guide, it completely encircles the chain, unlike the stock TTR unit.

If you have problems with the chain angle you may need to install bigger sprockets front and rear. I had somewhat the same problem on my 125L/yz conversion.
