pw50 fork oil?

Recommended Posts

I think they have only the seals at the top which don't really seal in/out much I guess and no oil... I have yet to break mine down or get the manual I ordered but believe it's a simple spring only type of shock.

thats what i thought. i guess someone (previous owner) must have put oil in them since there is oil coming out.

dont pack with too much grease, it will all come out through the seals. just enough to keep everything in there lubed. its just a spring and buffer.

I have not seen anything out there. not only that, you can only get apart one side of the PW fork. the other one is sealed in there somehow.

Yamaha only let's you think only one side can be disassembled.

Ya looks like a pain in the butt... odd that they wouldn't have the ability to service both sides easily.
